Paul Whelan is a seasoned marine professional with more than 25 years of experience in the yachting industry. Paul has worked in virtually every aspect of the large yacht industry including building, renovating, selling and managing various sized yachts. He spent eight years crewing on various superyachts including the 61m Feadship Mylin IV, and a 50m Proteksan Turquoise, giving him invaluable hands-on operational experience. This work included worldwide cruising and shipyard periods in The Netherlands and USA.
Over the past 10 years Paul has been active in developing the yachting industry throughout South East Asia with a particular focus on the market in Indonesia, where he has been based for the past four years. Paul is a trusted and knowledgeable professional and is ideally suited to assist you with all your yachting needs.
Kevin Hartanto has more than 10 years of experience in the tourism industry where he curates bespoke yacht charter and unique luxury traveling experience for the wealthy individuals. His interest in yachting grew through the years as he gets more involved in traditional Phinisi Schooners charter requests from clients.
An avid traveller who has visited more than 50 countries around the world, Kevin brings his passion, confidence, and strong interpersonal skills to Simpson Marine Indonesia to assist you on your yachting projects.
Lusy provides administrative and sales support for the Simpson Marine team in Jakarta, to ensure that customers enjoy excellent service whether they are buying a yacht or seeking help with after-sales service or technical support.
Lusy most recently worked as a boat manager, looking after two luxury yachts and managing all aspects of their care and maintenance. Lusy has a wealth of yachting experience, including regular cruises from Singapore to Phuket and around Myanmar. She also once sailed from northern Sulawesi to Thailand on a 25m custom-built yacht.
